Yeshwant Chaudhary (1930 - 2000) was an Indian graphic designer and a master of Corporate Communication in India best known for his corporate logos for IIT Guwahati, Central Bank of India, HDFC Bank, and Amul Milk.
Chaudhary graduated from the prestigious Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts in Bombay, consistently topping his class. He later pursued post-graduation at the Central School of Art and Design in London, where he expanded his knowledge in exhibition design, film as art, advertising management, and philosophy.
After completing his studies, Chaudhary worked with Hans Schleyer R.D. in London. In the 1960s, he joined CIBA in Switzerland and was tasked with establishing their corporate communications in India, where he was appointed as the deputy manager.
In the later part of his career, Chaudhary established his own firm, 'Communica Corporate Communications', offering services such as film-making, audio-visuals, design services, and corporate identity programs.
Yeshwant Chaudhary's design expertise is evident in his work for various clients. Some of his most notable projects include Logos for Amul, IIT Guwahati, HDFC, Central Bank of India, Technova Associates, among many others.
Yeshwant Chaudhary passed away on September 19, 2000, leaving behind a rich legacy in the field of graphic design. Chaudhary's contributions to visual communication and design education were profound, and his work continues to inspire new generations of designers.
